Field work to document the response of Fall River to increased sediment supply was conducted from May through September, 2014, and a Masters thesis summarizing the results of this work was completed in May, 2015. Measurements taken throughout the study area indicate that the sediment supply to Fall River increased substantially due to entrainment of sediment on the Roaring River alluvial fan.
