Approximately 70 plants and 200 flowers were surveyed via these photos, and a number of irregular 6-petaled flowers were noted, but few 4-petaled flowers. We collected 13 tissue samples for future DNA analysis, and three herbarium specimens. Linanthus aureus ssp. aureus was also common in the same area and we noted petal number variation in that species as well.
