Geology 301 Geological Engineering Design Field Camp I. Research Permit and Reporting System
Students in 2 separate field sessions (June 3-4, 32 students, June 17-18, 33 students) spent 2 days describing rock units and mapping about 1 square mile area of Chickasaw NRA. The students measured conglomerate clasts with calipers and differentiated conglomerates and sandstones within the Vanoss Conglomerate (Pennsylvanian).
