The composition of seed banks and seed bank emergence were assessed among common native and non-native dominant plant communities from tidally reconnected oligohaline (0.5-5 ppt) wetlands within Lewis & Clark National Historical Park. The results indicate that the newly created salinity and flooding gradient of restored oligohaline marshes act to suppress non-native species’ germination in the low-mid marsh regions but not in the high marsh.
