ABSTRACT: The first records of the least shrew. Cryptotis parva are reported from the Blue Ridge and Ridge and Valley Provinces of Georgia. Review of distributional records of the least shrew throughout the Appalachian Highlands of Alabama. Georgia. North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee indicate it to be widely distributed, but uncommon to rare regionally.
