Following is a full report on all data known to date regarding the finding of historic features and artifacts in the vicinity rumored to have contained a "Soldiers' Market" and guard post in early 1778, during the Revolutionary War encampment of George Washington's army. The area lies north of the Shuylkill River at proposed structure 6/3 (existing structure 10/2) of the Cromby-Plymouth Meeting Line. (See Exhibit I).
