Stakeholder Management and Ecosystem Management: A Stakeholder Analysis on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Brenner B. 2001. Stakeholder Management and Ecosystem Management: A Stakeholder Analysis on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration

CONCLUSION: This thesis ultimately attempted to determine if the stakeholder management approach represents a meaningful tool for the NPS dual mission and mandate. Both, case study findings on the GSMNP and a close look at stakeholder theory strongly suggest that it can indeed be a very useful approach for managing a NP.
