General Description - Cultural landscapes are diverse historic resources that range form large agricultural tracts to small designed gardens. These landscapes provide important information about how people have interacted with the natural environment for both subsistence and pleasure. The Cultural Landscape Inventory (CLI) is a new program in the National Park Service designed to identify and document cultural landscapes in all National Parks.
