Holland FR. 1964. Historic Structures Report: [Administrative Data and Historical Data] Old Point Loma Lighthouse, Cabrillo National Monument. Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service. San Diego, California

This report contains administrative and historical data on the Point Loma Lighthouse, one of the first eight lighthouses on the Pacific Coast of the United States. All were built at during a significant period when the administration of lighthouses was undergoing a drastic revision, and new lighthouse technology was being introduced. This report details the development and use of this structure within that context. It contains photographs and images that illustrate the appearance of the lighthouse between 1855 and 1964. The structure was planned to be exhibited as a historic house to illustrate a nineteenth century lighthouse and show the life of its keepers. Funds were programmed for the 1966 fiscal year to restore and refurbish the building.
