This is a statistical summary of the gaseous air pollutant concentrations measured in national parks during 2008 as part of the NPS Air Resources Division monitoring program. The primary air pollutants reported, including ozone (O3), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and inhalable particulate matter (PM2.5), are known to cause human health problems and to injure natural resources.
