The reported data are for surface water samples collected from watersheds in Shenandoah National Park, eastern Virginia, and western Virginia under a number of short and long-term projects. These data include chemical analyses of surface water samples collected non-periodically, quarterly, weekly, and more-frequently during storm flows, and volatile residue analyses of water samples collected quarterly in Shenandoah National Park. Also included are temperature and discharge measurements.
