This report contains a memorandum from Casa Grande Archeologist Roy W. Reaves III informing the Acting Chief of the Southwest Archeological Center about a section of a second story wall in the north room of the Casa Grande that had collapsed. It is preceded by a brief field trip report for a trip to Casa Grande on January 22. The collapse occurred during the night on January 14, 1969. Birds, sonic booms, and erosional forces caused the weakened condition, and it is recommended that emergency stabilization repairs be made to this section of the wall. The memo describes the conditions with photographs and measurements.
