The purpose of this report is to document the data quality standards used by the Chihuahuan Desert Network (CHDN) and Sonoran Desert Network (SODN) for activities related to the collection, processing, storage, analysis, and publication of monitoring data as described in the Springs, Seeps and Tinajas Monitoring Protocol: Chihuahuan and Sonoran Desert Networks (McIntyre et al. 2018). The policies and procedures documented or referenced in this quality-assurance plan complement the quality-assurance plans for other monitoring activities conducted by the Chihuahuan Desert and Sonoran Desert networks and supplement the data management plans for the networks (Richie 2009 and Angell 2005, respectively). This report also serves as a guide for all Chihuahuan Desert Network and Sonoran Desert Network personnel who are involved in protocol/program activities and as a resource for identifying memoranda, publications, and other literature that describe associated techniques and requirements in more detail.
