In accordance with guidelines set forth by the National Park Service Inventory & Monitoring Division, a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) has been created for use by the Mid-Atlantic Network in the implementation of Breeding Bird Monitoring Protocol. This QAP documents the standards, policies, and procedures used by the Mid-Atlantic Network for activities related to the collection, processing, storage, analysis, publication, and sharing of monitoring data. The policies and procedures documented in this QAP are consistent with the quality assurance plans for other monitoring activities conducted by the Mid-Atlantic Network and supplement the National Inventory & Monitoring Division Quality Management Plan.
