Sergeant CJ, Johnson W, Moynahan B, Nagorski S. 2011. Southeast Alaska Network water quality monitoring SOP 14: Managing the Production Environment, version 1.0. NPS Southeast Alaska I&M Network, Juneau, Alaska.

This reference is for standard operating procedure (SOP) 14 from the FQ-2013.1 protocol package, in effect between 2010 – 2020. In order for most SEAN deliverables to be published, they must be installed in the NPS production environment managed by the Natural Resource Stewardship and Science Directorate in Fort Collins, Colorado. Certain deliverables must also be installed in repositories, such as the NPS IRMA Data Store and NPStoret database. Water quality content is generated, validated, and certified within the SEAN’s staging environment, after which it is to production for permanent storage and public access. The detailed SOPs in this protocol describe the relevant validation, certification, and publication steps for each deliverable, which vary based on file format and contents. Additional information about the SEAN’s production environment is in the network’s Data Management Plan.
