San Francisco Area Network (SFAN) monitors juvenile Coho salmon populations within three coastal watersheds in Marin County: Olema Creek, Redwood Creek, and Pine Gulch Creek. Estimates of annual status and trends over time are desired for assessing management goals. The survey design, status estimation, and a power analysis to detect trends in juvenile Coho abundance over time are reviewed in this report.
