5MV1086 is an isolated, above-ground kiva, dated Late Pueblo II (A.D. 1080–1120), located in Morfield Campground, Mesa Verde National Park, CO. 5MT22814, a Pueblo II (A.D. 900–1150), Chacoan Great House community is located at 32112 Road M.5, Mancos, CO. Since 5MV1086 and 5MT22814 were contemporaneous and in relatively close proximity, we wanted to determine whether there were any possible connections or structural similarities between the two sites.
