We received 5 runners for each of two samples of Fragaria chiloensis subsp. sandwicensis collected from the common garden on the Big Island on 6 December 2018. These samples were placed on our propagation bench in our greenhouse in Corvallis, Oregon. No study has been done since we received the plant material less than a week ago. Our plan is to compare these samples through phenological, morphological, genetic, and genomic analysis to other beach strawberries in our genebank.
