Project summary for a 2002-2003 study investigating whether dunes and grasslands grazed by cattle at Point Reyes National Seashore provide adequate habitat for the endangered Myrtle's silverspot butterfly. The project compared the plants crucial to the lifecycle of the Myrtle’s silverspot butterfly and the numbers of Myrtle's silverspot butterflies seen between grazed and ungrazed dunes and grasslands.
