Klamath Bird Observatory and Crater Lake National Park initiated a collaborative project to engage park visitors in bird ecology in 2017. The objectives of this five-year project are to improve educational opportunities, public awareness, and knowledge about bird populations within the Klamath-Siskiyou Bioregion, and specifically at CRLA, through surveys and public outreach. This report summarizes KBO’s survey operations and contributions to outreach efforts in 2018 at the CRLA constant effort banding station located in Munson Valley and the Sevenmile Guard Station within Fremont-Winema National Forest.
