In accordance with guidelines set forth by the National Park Service Inventory and Monitoring Division, this quality assurance plan was developed by the Great Lakes Inventory and Monitoring Network (GLKN) in the implementation of a protocol for monitoring environmental contaminants in bald eagle nestlings. This quality assurance plan documents the standards, policies, and procedures used by the GLKN for activities related to the collection, processing, storage, analysis, and publication of monitoring data associated with monitoring environmental contaminants in bald eagle nestlings. The policies and procedures documented herein complement the quality assurance plans for other monitoring activities conducted by the GLKN and supplement the National Inventory and Monitoring Division Quality Management Plan.
