Leaf tissue from two individuals of Bidens micrantha ctenophylla was collected, and DNA extractions were made. The genomic DNA extractions are now available via the Smithsonian Institution. DNA barcodes generated for this project (nrITS, trnH-psbA, matK, rbcL) could not be used to differentiate B. micrantha ctenophylla from other Hawai'i Island Bidens taxa.
