Big Ruin was stabilized in April of 1986 by Nickens and Associates as part of the Year 3 requirements in a multiyear contract. More information concerning the environmental and cultural setting of Big Ruin and site, structure, and artifact descriptions were included in the Year 2 report. This report serves as a follow up to the stabilization assessment, documenting the actual stabilization work performed at the site. A total of eight work days from March 31 to April 7, 1986 was needed to complete this structural stabilization.
