This section of the Historic Structure Report presents findings of the physical investigations and recommendations for correction of the existing deficiencies in the Home, Family Garage, and Swedish House. The remaining buildings at the site are similar in type and function to those found on high country farms of North Carolina. The individual buildings were modified to some extent by the Sandburgs to meet the specific requirements of goat raising, and they do not possess distinctive architectural characters or features. The National Park Service planned to develop Connemara as a living farm, complete with a goat herd. In addition to the history, condition, and treatment recommendations for the structures, the report includes photographs and measured drawings.
