Two of the 61 nesting sites in this study are in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park of Redwood National and State Parks. The other nest sites are located in other areas of California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and Alaska. Information gathered in the study includes characteristics of the landscape (distance to salt water, elevation, aspect slope), forest (age, tree size, and others), tree, and nest. Results are summarized in the discussion, with some details in 8 figures and 2 tables.
