We investigate the relationships among several, isolated populations of chuckwallas in northwestern Sonora, Mexico and southwestern Arizona, USA to better understand their relationship and connectivity in the surrounding landscape. We include previously published sequence data in our analysis as well as DNA samples obtained from scat. These data were used to inform a collaborative project as part of the Next Generation Sonoran Desert Researchers (N-Gen) 6&6 Arts and Science Initiative.
