Sequoia Groves of the Sierra Nevada California

National Park Service and Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. 2017. Sequoia Groves of the Sierra Nevada California. Sierra Nevada California

Mapped Giant Sequoia groves in the Sierra Nevada California. Approximate bounding polygons of Sequoia Groves in Yosemite National Park, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Sequoia National Forest, Sierra National Forest, Stanislaus National Forest (Calaveras Big Trees State Park), and Tahoe National Forest. Some unit's GIS staff submitted their polygon layers. For this exercise the CALVEG categories of BT and MB were also added where they were in addition. The Placer Grove in Tahoe is actually the Special Interest Area and is probably a little generous
