This standard operating procedure (SOP) discusses using global positioning systems for the NGPN Stream Channel Monitoring Protocol (Thornbrugh et al. 2019). The procedures are adapted from the Standard Operating Procedure, 62s Garmin GPS User Guide for the Northern Great Plains I&M Network (Wilson and Jarding, 2016).
