Pearly-eyes belong to a group of butterflies known as satyrs (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae). The Creole Pearly-eye (Lethe creola) is uncommon to rare in this area, but was discovered at this part of the park in a 2016 butterfly inventory. This project attempts identify habitat use, behavior and breeding period of this butterfly.
