This report was developed by a team of midshipmen students at the United States Naval Academy as a capstone project for their Ocean Engineering course: Conner O’Neill, Christopher Brahm, Michael Holland, Rick Garcia, and Dennis Morral under their adviser, Professor David Kriebel. The report is intended to support Cumberland Island National Seashore in managing coastal erosion along the historic Plum Orchard Mansion landscape. This project was completed in partnership between the United States Naval Academy Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and the National Park Service, in efforts to support park needs along vulnerable shorelines.
