This report was developed by a team of midshipmen students at the United States Naval Academy as a capstone project for their Ocean Engineering course: Caitlin Anson, Richard Cavins, Nick Halbach, Kyle Milchuck, Robert Roper, Samuel Weaver under their adviser, Professor David Kriebel. The report is intended to support Fort Sumter National Monument in managing coastal erosion along the Northern and Eastern sides of the fort. This project was completed in partnership between the United States Naval Academy Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and the National Park Service, in efforts to support park needs along vulnerable shorelines.
