Science, Innovation, and Engagement: Charting Our Next 100 Years On Thursday, May 21st, 2015, a wealth of conferences and meetings took place in the Bay Area to delve into the role of science in the parks, community science programs, building a constituency of park supporters for the next century, and much, much more. The goal of the 2015 San Francisco Bay Area National Parks Science and Natural Resources Symposium was to bring these ideas home, and to share our own projects, programs, lessons learned, best practices, and success stories with our local communities, agencies, and non-profit colleagues.
