From report: "The Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) supports the National Register of Historic Places and Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives programs, two of the most widely recognized preservation partnership programs of the National Park Service (NPS) and the State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPO). But what else does the HPF make possible across the country? The HPF supports a wide variety of programs that include the survey and nomination of historic properties to the National Register, historic preservation planning, rehabilitation of historic properties, education, disaster relief, and grant and technical assistance to local governments, States, and Tribes."
