This report describes the physical condition and historical context of camps Greentop and Misty Mount at Catoctin Mountain Park. The report covers land use in the Catoctin area throughout its history as well as the New Deal programs that built the camps and their military use during and after World War II. The report recommends preservation of the camps alongside their continued use for recreational camping.
