This report describes the physical condition and historical context of the Carter G. Woodson Home. Woodson was one of the most prominent black historians of the 20th century. Woodson founded the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History and the Associated Publishers, Inc., both of which he directed from his D.C. rowhouse. The report lays out a plan for restoration of the Carter G. Woodson Home and future use as a museum about Woodson's life and career.
