This report describes the physical condition and historical context of the Old Stone House in Georgetown. The house was originally constructed circa 1765 and is one of the oldest buildings in D.C. The report gives historical background for Georgetown as a whole as well as a timeline of modifications to the house, which include an earlier 1950's NPS rehabilitation effort. The report recommends continued maintenance and further study.
