This report describes the physical condition and historical context for the barn and springhouse at the Peirce farmstead in Rock Creek Park. These buildings were built in the early 1800s and provide physical evidence of the culture and society of D.C. at the time. The report recommends preserving the springhouse and rehabilitating the barn as the main visitor center for Peirce Mill.
