In December 2011, the National Park Service entered into a contract with GWWO, Inc., Architects from Baltimore, MD, to provide an Historic Structure Report (HSR) for The Grange on Cumberland Island, GA. The contract scope was expanded in 2012 to include the Beach Creek Dock House and Pump House, also in the vicinity of The Grange. The Grange, listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing structure within the Dungeness Historic District, is a significant and well preserved structure associated with the Carnegie era on Cumberland Island.
