Historic Structures Report: Peirce Mill
The Friends of Peirce Mill and Quinn Evans Architects. 2000. Historic Structures Report: Peirce Mill. National Park Service
This report describes the history, current condition and recommended treatment of Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park. The mill, constructed in the early 19th century, is the only survivor out of the eight grist mills built within what is now Rock Creek Park. It serves as an example of early industry in Washington, D.C. The report provides recommendations for restoring functionality to the mill so that it can be used for interpretation.
