This report provides an architectural description of the Washington Canoe Club Building in Georgetown. The building was constructed in the Shingle style in the first decade of the 20th century. Today it is one of only two historic boathouses remaining along the Potomac waterfront in D.C. The report concludes that the building is in poor condition, offers a list of maintenance items necessary to preserve the building and recommends the building be rehabilitated for contemporary use.
