Brochure was created by Kate Hampton, Community Preservation Coordinator for the Montana State Historic Preservation Office, and used when offering tours to Certified Local Government representatives and members of the public. Featured properties include: Montana State Capitol, Boiler Plant, Legislative Restaurant (Capitol Annex), Livestock Building, Board of Health Building, Unemployment Compensation Commission Building (Walt Sullivan Building), State Laboratory Building (W. F. Cogswell Building), State Office Building (Sam W. Mitchell Building), Montana Veterans & Pioneers Memorial Building, Montana Highway Department Building, Fish & Game Department Building, Montana Teachers’ Retirement System Building, Justice Building & Montana State Library, State Rehabilitation Services Building, Governor’s Mansion (Executive Residence) Funding was provided in part by a 2016 Historic Preservation Fund grant administered by the Montana Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office (project number MT-17-009, grant number P17AF00012) and the State, Tribal, Local, Plans & Grants Division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
