Environmental Assessment Fire Management Plan For Western Arctic National Parklands [Western Arctic National Parklands]
2004. Environmental Assessment Fire Management Plan For Western Arctic National Parklands [Western Arctic National Parklands]
An Environmental Assessment (EA) is a concise public document, prepared by federal agencies as required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to examine the potential impacts and possible alternatives of plans and projects they propose. The conclusions of an EA support the agency’s decision to prepare either an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for further impact assessment or issue a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). This EA addresses the fire management plan (FMP) for Western Arctic National Parklands (Noatak National Preserve, Cape Krusenstern National Monument, Kobuk Valley National Park and Bering Land Bridge National Preserve).
