This SOP describes how to measure growth rates in individual coral colonies and requires at least two divers and approximately 30 minutes to complete. This SOP assumes that the ten coral colonies per transect have been marked as described in SOP #7 Selecting and Marking Subtidal Sampling Transect Locations.
