This is the survey report for restoration and rehabilitation of the Corbin Griffin Apothecary Shop in Yorktown, Virginia. The structure, located on Lot 30 and part of Colonial National Historical Park, was reconstructed by the National Park Service in 1935-36. The original building was the "Medical Shop" of Corbin Griffin, a physician in Yorktown, who acquired the property in 1790. The reconstructed form of the exterior and grounds would enhance the 1781 appearance of Yorktown. There was no plan to reproduce a medical shop interior, and it was proposed that it be made into a small quarters for park personnel.
