Fire Management Plan: Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Whitenack M. 2014. Fire Management Plan: Cuyahoga Valley National Park

A Fire Management Plan (FMP) must be prepared for all parks with burnable vegetation as required by the policies governing federal wildland fire management and the National Park Service (NPS). Grounded in the guidance provided by a park’s resource management and planning documents, FMPs describe a cooperative fire management strategy based on the park’s goals and objectives for resource protection and the health and safety of the public, staff and park neighbors. This FMP addresses Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
