The Cultural Landscape Report for Glendale Battlefield includes a site history of the land in and around the Glendale Battlefield area, with a focus on land ownership and physical appearance and changes in the landscape throughout the historic period. The site history is followed by a summary of existing conditions and an analysis and evaluation of the site’s integrity and contributing features and landscape characteristics. The final chapter presents treatment framework, guidelines, and specific tasks that are recommended to enhance the historic character of the site while expanding visitor access, improving visitor experience, and facilitating interpretation of the landscape’s stories. Each chapter is supported by illustrations, site photos, maps, and diagrams.
