Historic Structures Report, Part I: Blacksmith Shop (Bldg. 7)

Weig MJ, Levy B, Spiegler A, Whittington G. 1964. Historic Structures Report, Part I: Blacksmith Shop (Bldg. 7). Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service

The Blacksmith Shop, Building No. 7, was for many years an important part of the old Edison Laboratory operations at West Orange, New Jersey, as indicated in the Historical Data section of this report. Material and equipment used in the shop was removed thence some years ago, and most of it is now in storage elsewhere at the Laboratory Unit of Edison National Historic Site. The report finds that the building is in need of total restoration and rehabilitation.
