The purpose of this study is to record the existing conditions at, and to make recommendations for the preservation/restoration, of the Garage-Stable at the Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site (ELRO), Hyde Park, New York. The date to which the building will be restored, as suggested by the May 1980 General Management Plan, is 1962. The study consists of an architectural history of the site, as well as existing conditions and recommendations for the exterior, interior, and mechanical systems of the site. The report also includes finishes and mortar analyses.
