Stabilization of Main Building, William Floyd Estate
Dickey JM, Meadows/Woll Architects, Langer G, Robert Silman Associates, P.C.. 1980. Stabilization of Main Building, William Floyd Estate. Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Denver Service Center, Denver, Colorado
The outline of this report directly follows the organization of the contract given to Meadows/Woll Architects by the National Park Service. The tasks are addressed in the order presented. The report establishes priorities for performing the work recommended, so as to assure that the most serious problems are considered first. In general the procedures for the stabilization and restoration of the William Floyd House described in this report can be divided into two categories: first, those that should be acted on immediately to prevent further deterioration of the structure and, second, those that are necessary to upgrade the structure so that it may be used by the public. While the tasks in the first category should be accomplished as soon as possible, those in the second category may be left until funds are available for them.
