Acadia’s long-forgotten invasive plants become new targets

Wheeler J, Burka J, Stevenson N, Fetgatter A. 2019. Acadia’s long-forgotten invasive plants become new targets. National Park Service, Acadia National Park

From the abstract: "Botanists and Resource Managers inventoried Invasive plant locations throughout Acadia National Park in the early 2000's. Acadia's Invasive Plant Management Team (IPMT) investigated these reports in 2018 and 2019, only to find a whole range of outcomes. Many invasive observations from 15 years ago have stayed small and isolated, though some are now large populations that have gone unchecked. Will the IPMT succeed in managing them all?"
